Milwaukee’s Worst Tour – Best Beer

Milwaukee’s Worst Tour – Best Beer

Black Husky tours on Saturdays at 1:00 & 2:00!

Put on your big boy and girl pants because this will be brutal. Already rated the worst tour in Milwaukee it will only get worse. You will get over-charged and under-served and the abuse will be early and often. Got a friend who needs some humility? Look no further than the Black Husky tour.

Ratings
"It was awful. Tim, the brewer, just yelled at me the whole time. All I did was ask how long he puts his beer in secondary." - Justin P., tour participant and homebrewer extraordinaire

"Man this was one of the oddest experiences I have had. We only got a couple of samples but do they pack a punch. One minute I was having a beer, the next thing I know I wake up in a pile of grain bags with my pants on backwards and a Hillary 2020 tattoo. I’m going back as soon as I can." -
Bob L., tour participant and musician

"I guess it was okay. The brewer Tim and the owner Toni came out with their dog and she pooped – the dog that is – all over the place. They didn’t even seem to notice – like it happens all the time." -
Princess Paul, tour participant and Jesus impersonator

Ahead of the Pack Barrel-Aged Beer Release

Ahead of the Pack Barrel-Aged Beer Release

BOURBON BARREL AGED HEADBUTTER
in the barrel since 5/24/2015
250-300 12-ounce bottles

The season of barrel releases is upon us and there are a lot to choose from this year so we would like to assist you in making your choice.

Points to consider:
1. Rarity - At Black Husky we do a barrel release – singular. Not barrel(s). One barrel with about 240 bottles. That is pretty rare.

2. Age - Our Headbuter Barleywine went into the barrel on May 24, 2015. This beer is older than most of the breweries in Milwaukee.

3. Flavor - This relates to age. We have never released a beer that is less than 18 months old because I believe that with age comes complexity of flavor. If you just put your beer in a barrel for a few months the only flavor you extract is the spirit that was in the barrel. Alternatively you could just drop a shot of bourbon in your glass if all you want is bourbon and beer.

PINOT NOIR BARREL AGED IMPERIAL HEFE WEISS
in the barrel since 8/14/2017, on tap only

Black Husky F^%^%ed Up Friday

Black Husky F^%^%ed Up Friday

Every brewer F^%^%s up whether they admit it or not. At Black Husky when we F^%^% up a beer we own it - we dump it. We don’t pass it off as if we intended it to be that way. However, once in a while some of those F^%^% ups can be salvaged.

So come join us on Black Husky Friday for F^%^%ed Up Friday where we bring out some extremely limited F^%^% ups that actually are pretty great.

1. Imperial Harold the Red - aged in a Bourbon barrel since March 2015. Went sour so we put it on sweet cherries.

2. St. Nikkilaus - brewed November 2014. Left outside behind the brewhaus in Pembine for almost three years.

3. Smoke Monster - brewed October 2013. Returned from Great Taste 2014 then lost in the walk-in cooler.

4. Imperial Harold the Red - brewed February 2014 then lost in the walk-in cooler.

La Masa will be here with empanada selections to pair with the beers!
